Hot Tamales Candy
"So Hot!" - I managed the Hot Tamales Candy promotion in the Twin Cities by coordinating events that reached out to the target demographic. Our team attended events that captured the brand's essence and provided an opportunity to promote it to consumers through games, contests, and sampling!
Edge Shave Gel
"Refresh Your Shave!" - I managed the Edge Shave Gel Promotional Marketing Campaign for the Twin Cities in Minnesota which encouraged consumers to swap out their old can for Edge instead. For this promotion I hired staff, organized product allotments, and hosted events to create brand awareness. As a result, we swapped over 1000 cans and we were the first to achieve our goal out of 60 competing cities!
State Farm Insurance
"Like A Good Neighbor - State Farm Is There" - While working for State Farm Insurance, I assisted in hiring my team and then promoting the insurance brand through marketing techniques at local events. We reached out to consumers by handing out 'Insurance Polices' that contained a single dollar bill inside, which showed people the 'value' behind working with State Farm. This promotion focused on street marketing to reach the target demographic and inform them about the brand.
Durex
"Durex - The World's #1 Condom" For this promotion, I was in charge of the Twin Cities region to market the product accordingly at brand appropriate events, gatherings, and activities. Sampling was very successful because it allowed me to access the target demographic and inform them about how it's better then other brands. Furthermore, I focused on creating brand awareness but offering "Condoms For A Year" as prizes associated with local events and causes for a marketing tool to create excitement and hype about Durex.
Popchips
"They're Not Baked Or Fried... They're Popped! Like Popcorn! Giving You All The Flavor - Without The Calories" Another street marketing promotion that I managed was for Popchips. My team hit the streets providing samples of the product to consumers so they could actually taste the difference! This was a fantastic way to get the brand into their hands and inform them about it too!
Livescribe Smart Pen
"Never Miss A Word" - Managing the Smart Pen promotion for the Minnesota region allowed me to do product demonstrations at Best Buy locations to capture consumers attention and relate the product to their lives. This campaign demanded a liaison between the client and the consumer/workers because the product has so many details that could be overlooked without demonstrating it and direct communication.
